The High School Ministry at FBC Fairfield has a long and steady tradition strong discipleship, spiritual formation, and involvement in leadership development and responsibilities. Through very active “year-around” small groups for guys and ladies, Sunday morning Bible studies, and Wednesday night discipleship, the High School Ministry is committed to growing students as leaders for the Kingdom of Christ.
In 2012, our HS ladies small group was involved in their first mission trip. Their ministry in the Oakland and San Francisco Bay area proved to be profitable for the Kingdom, and for the spiritual formation of every participant. The 2013 small group mission trip took place in New York.
High School Ministries
Each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. there is available for High School students (Grades 9-12) a Sunday morning Bible study and Worship time. (Built within the teaching curriculum are small group interactive times as well.)
Every 2nd & 4th Sunday evening, immediately after our evening Family Worship at 5:30 p.m., there is a HS guys small group and HS ladies small group. Please contact our Office at 903-389-3518.
“Fusion” is the name of our High School Wednesday evening Bible study group meeting each Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Each evening begins with gym time at 6:00 p.m. in the Christian Life Center.
Also on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m., there is a church wide fellowship meal. Hey students, come with your family and friends for an incredible home cooked meal by our kitchen staff.
A strong ministry for our Juniors and Seniors is the Applied Theology Scholarship Studies. This study involves a yearlong in-depth study of Christian Theology within a college level course. Taught by our Pastoral Staff and gifted lay-teachers within the Church, this course leads the student through an intensive study of practical application with some of the most foundational doctrines and teachings of Scripture. This course has a specified enrollment time. For more information, please contact the FBC Church office at 903-389-3518.
